SIKE! Socialist Meeting Docs Show Mamdani’s Election Was All About Their Anti-Israel Agenda!

Brooklyn, NY — In the run-up to the mayoral election, Mamdani’s supporters asked why his views on Israel and Gaza matter in ‌a local mayoral race. Surely a mayor can’t dictate policy on that lever, right?

Since the election results came out, JustTheNews released internal plans it obtained from the Democratic Socialists of America—of which Mamdani is a member—detailing their “demands”. And you guessed it, it contains Israel all over it; from arresting Netanyahu or IDF soldiers and barring Israeli products from their socialist grocery stores, to divesting city bonds and CUNY’s endowments.

Socialist Zohran Mamdani—who defeated former Governor Andrew Cuomo and GOP nominee Curtis Sliwa last Tuesday—has been a longtime DSA member and leader.

The “Anti War Policy” of the DSA had a number of meetings over the past few weeks, plotting to push their demands for a strong BDS against Israel.

The document titled “AWWG Palestine Policy Meeting Meeting Agenda & Notes,” includes their top level demands for the incoming Mamdani Administration. 11 out of the 12 are about Israel. (You can read the notes here)

Here are the 12 “demands” in their words:

• “Divest City pension funds from Israeli bonds and securities
• “Withdraw City funds from banks that lend money to Israel or do business in Israel
• “End City contracts with companies that do business with Israel
• “Operate City-run grocery stores free from Israeli products
• “Investigate real estate agents hosting illegal sales of stolen lands in the West Bank
• “Evict weapons manufacturers and transporters from the NYC Metro Area
• “Remove non-profit status from charities that raise funds for IDF
• “Divest CUNY endowment and reinstate wrongly fired professors
• “Dismantle Eric Adam’s NYC-Israel economic council
• “End NYPD training with IOF*
• “End repression of demonstrators and the SRG
• “Arrest Netanyahu and active IDF soldiers for war crimes”

*“IOF” is an acronym for a derogatory term for the IDF.

The meeting notes acknowledge the feasibility of some of these demands, like if the NYPD refusal to arrest Netanyahu and IDF soldiers and clashes with state and federal forces.

The meeting notes show it is a top-down approach, coercing their elected members into their Israel approach, “Plan and push forward through conflict with political priorities. Make it clear to electeds [elected officials] that if they want our support, our priorities matter.”

Until When and Where?

It’s not a stretch that Mamdani would be unopposed to these demands as he advocated for the BDS agenda in the New York State Assembly and said he would arrest Benjamin Netanyahu, even though it is illegal according to legal experts.

But the extremism in these plans is insane. They go further than what Mamdani said previously, like arresting Israelis because they serve in the IDF? No Bissli or Bamba at a government grocery store? Will he shut down Shul’s if there is a land auction in Chevron?

It goes beyond that in the way it shows the underbelly of the far left: promise free stuff, while uprooting others.

If a DSA member wins the 2026 gubernatorial race or even the 2028 presidential election, what will their demands be? What will happen to the Jewish community then?

The Jewish community’s animosity toward Mamdani was never about him being a Muslim. It was his platform—or, more accurately, the platform of the Democratic Socialists of America—that actively goes against the interests of the Jewish community in New York and beyond.

“Complete and utter insanity.” Rep. Mike Lawler, who represents the Jewish communities in Rockland, responded to the leak. “As Chair of the Middle East and North Africa subcommittee on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, I will be watching closely and will conduct hearings if @ZohranKMamdani and New York City engage in policy detrimental to US Foreign Policy.”

Here’s the New York City DSA Anti-War Working Group’s internal document which they accidentally shared with me. It includes the DSA group’s list of “demands” for the incoming Mamdani Administration — shockingly basically all the demands are anti-Israel.
