Illinois: Bill Mandating Kosher Meals in Schools, Hospitals Passes Legislature
Two years after the Faith by Plate Act was introduced to the Illinois Legislature, Jewish groups celebrated the passage of SB457, a significant piece of legislation, that makes Kosher and Halal food available across the State now awaiting the governor’s approval.
